Do I need a trip or fuel permit?

If you are crossing state lines and meet any of the following criteria, you must purchase permits. 

  • Vehicle has 3 or more axles on the power unit, regardless of weight
  • Vehicle has 2 axles and a GVW or registered weight over 26,000 lbs
  • Vehicle is used in combination (truck + trailer), and the combined GVW exceeds 26,000 lbs

Purchase Permits

1. Fill out form.
2. Press save.
3. Click locations on the map.
4. Select Permit type and “Add to Cart”
5. Checkout
